Meet Jorge Martinez

Helping people buy and sell real estate is what I do. Helping people make confident decisions about their future is why I do it.

I’m Jorge Martinez, a Bay Area native, Realtor with Real Broker, speaker, content creator, and trusted advisor who has helped clients buy and sell more than $55 million in real estate throughout Northern California.

I attended St. Joachim School and Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward before earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from California State University, East Bay. Before real estate, I spent several years in the tech industry, including roles at Yelp and as a Customer Success Manager. While I enjoyed building relationships and helping people solve problems, I realized I wasn’t passionate about sales for the sake of sales.

Then the pandemic changed everything.

After losing my job, I found myself at a crossroads and unexpectedly discovered a career that aligned perfectly with who I am. What attracted me to real estate wasn’t selling homes. It was helping people navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives while building relationships rooted in trust.

Since becoming licensed in 2021, I’ve built my business differently than most agents. The majority of my clients have come through referrals, relationships, and social media rather than traditional prospecting. I believe people deserve to know who they’re hiring before they sign a contract, which is why I’ve built my brand around education, transparency, storytelling, and genuine connection.

My philosophy is simple: my job is not to tell clients what they want to hear. My job is to provide honest advice, market expertise, strong negotiation, and a clear strategy so they can make the best decision for themselves and their family. Sometimes that means moving forward, sometimes it means waiting, and sometimes it means advising someone not to buy or sell at all. My loyalty is to helping clients make informed decisions, not simply completing a transaction.

I don’t view clients as commission checks. I view them as long-term relationships. My goal is to become the trusted advisor people call not only for their next move, but for every chapter that follows.

Outside of real estate, I’m passionate about personal growth, health, and living intentionally. Years ago, I weighed more than 420 pounds. Through discipline, consistency, and a commitment to becoming the best version of myself, I’ve lost over 200 pounds. That journey taught me resilience, accountability, and the value of showing up every day, even when the results aren’t immediate. Those same principles guide my service to clients today.

I also believe growth never stops. Each year, I invest heavily in coaching, conferences, education, and networking opportunities across the country. I regularly learn from top agents, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders because I believe one relationship or one new perspective can change the trajectory of a person’s life. Real estate is ultimately a relationship business, and the stronger your network, the stronger your ability to serve your clients.

Whether I’m helping a first-time buyer, a luxury seller, an investor, or a family preparing for their next chapter, my mission remains the same: provide exceptional service, honest guidance, innovative marketing, and an experience that makes clients feel informed, supported, and cared for every step of the way.

If you’re looking for someone who will simply tell you what you want to hear, I’m probably not the right fit. If you’re looking for an advisor who will tell you the truth, advocate fiercely on your behalf, and genuinely care about helping you achieve your goals, I’d be honored to earn your trust

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

How do I know if I'm actually ready to buy?

Being ready is about more than a pre-approval letter. I look at your timeline, your cash position, your job stability, and how long you plan to stay, then give you an honest answer even if that answer is to wait a few months. I would rather earn your trust now than push you into a home that doesn't fit your life.

I'm a first-time buyer and the whole thing feels overwhelming. Where do I start?

How much do I really need for a down payment?

What actually adds value before I list my home?

I'm relocating to the Bay Area for a new role. How do you help me buy before I even get here?

How do you price and market my home so it doesn't sit?

Which East Bay communities should I be looking at?

Should I bring my own agent when buying new construction?

What do people get wrong when buying a new build?

Should I sell first or buy first?
